Amsterdam Clay Events

Hard to put the whole experience into words, but since you asked:

We invite you to arrive around 10 minutes before the start of the event, giving you some time to settle in and get comfortable before we start with the actual claying.

Once everyone is in our host & clay master will give everyone a warm welcome, and just the right instructions to get you started.

Then, it is mainly just 2 hours of claying and having fun. While you get into the claying, our art instructor is walking around for personal advice and our host is walking around to top up your drink.

After about 1 hour, and plenty of time to clay we move on to the next step: Painting of your creation. The clay master & host will again give some instructions to get you started and then it is up to you to bring your creation to life.

Finally, there is some time to wander around yourself, look at the other creations, have a chat and take some photos before we say goodbye at the end of the 2 hours.

But you are not leaving empty handed, you of course get to take your clay creation home with you!

All levels are welcome at the Rembrandt van Wine clay workshops.

The clay masters are there to help you at every step along the way, no matter whether it is your first time or your name is Rembrandt and you want to focus on developing a specific clay technique.

However, you don't have to listen to our clay masters, you can also embrace your creative mind and clay & paint it your own way. It is up to you!

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a bit messy. Clay can be washed out, but it's best to avoid your favorite outfit. We provide aprons, but clay work can sometimes get a bit messy!

Most events will be held in English since we get quite some international visitors and it would be a little mean to leave them hanging with only Dutch instructions.

However, most our hosts and art instructors speak both languages (and more!) so will be perfectly fine helping you personally in your preferred language!

Everything you need for the sip and clay: Art supplies, clay, art instructor, music, and a great amount of fun.

Also, all drinks are on us.

Plus, you get to bring your clay creation home afterwards!

Yes, you should!

We even hold some spare tickets behind for cool people wanting to come solo, just send us a message and we will get it sorted (even when an event appears to be sold-out).

Rembrandt van Wine is all about having fun, getting out of your comfort zone, learning something new in a judgemental free environment. Riding solo is a big part of all that!

Yes you can do this.

There are two options here, you can either buy as many tickets as your group needs for one of the events through our clay and sip event calendar (available soon).

We can also organise a private event just for you and your group. Fill in this form and we will reach out to you to organise something super fun together.
